Wiltons Furniture was founded in the late sixties by John Wiltons and for nearly thirty years, has distinguished itself as the premier distributor of classic and contemporary furniture. In 1973 Tim Hawthorne became a partner with John Wiltons and within three years, was sole owner and President, the office he continues to hold today. Also in 1973, a long and productive relationship began with Oliver Hawk, owner of the primary manufacturing operation for Wiltons's products. In 1977, Wiltons moved to its current location, acquiring over 380,000 square feet of warehouse space. Mr. Hawk is now Senior VP Manufacturing/Operations and co-equal partner with Mr. Hawthorne in the totally integrated Wiltons Furniture Corporation.
Wiltons's reputation has long been founded on being a distributor of high quality furniture. As markets and demographics have evolved, so has Wiltons by applying its expertise in solid wood craftsmanship to new materials and styles. Wiltons's reputation for innovation continues with a variety of new materials, finishes, styles and construction, all of which are detailed throughout this web site.
